Vital Club Roles Vacant

Great Melton Cricket Club is built on volunteers. From coaching juniors to preparing squares, our club cannot run without them. Right now, we are at a critical crossroads. Two vital roles are vacant, and without them, cricket at Great Melton is under threat.

1. Club Treasurer

The Role: Manage club finances, bank accounts, and invoices.

Key Duties: Track fees with ‘Sum-Up' readers, manage bills, liaise with club officers, and prepare the end-of-year AGM financial report.

Skills: Honesty, numeracy, and IT proficiency.

2. Fixture Secretary

The Role: Coordinate all senior, midweek, and junior fixtures.

Key Duties: Liaise with leagues and opposing clubs, upload schedules to Play-Cricket, and provide fortnightly updates to ground staff and captains.

Skills: Communication, organization, and IT proficiency.

Parents, former players, or local supporters are all welcome—you don't need to be an active player. Full

handover support is provided. If you can help please contact chair@greatmeltoncc.co.uk today.
