6-a-side Line-Up

Bank Holiday Monday 29th August sees cricketing mayhem hit Melton park. The start times for each of the first round of games is as-follows:

10a.m Great Ellingham vs Great Melton u17s

10.45a.m Norwich (Aaron Watson's VI) vs Swaffham

11.30a.m Brooke vs Great Melton's Old Gits

12.15a.m ITV Anglia vs Great Melton's Mini Sheds

Could all teams make sure that the toss for their game takes place 20 minutes before their alloted start time for all to run smoothly. Rules have been sent to the captain, but there will also be copies available on the day. The first round will lead to a ‘plate' competition and a ‘cup' competition with winners of each claiming trophies. There is also a trophy for the man of the tournament.

e.g winner of A vs B plays the winner of C vs D in the cup semi-final. Loser of A vs B plays the loser of C vs D in the plate Semi-Final.

To all planning to watch, Steve Clarke will be on the BBQ early serving up some bacon sarnies then leading into some burgers (veggie/beef variety). Martyn Cook will be on the DJ decks during the day and there will be a raffle with great prizes, our fully licensed bar with soft drinks, bitters, lagers and spirits as well as some exciting cricket I'm sure. Please come and show your support, and bring some nice weather with you!
